JESUS IS LORD

Proof of Jesus being Lord is based on several claims, including His divine attributes (omnipresence, omniscience), his miracles and resurrection from the dead, the fulfillment of Old Testament Prophecy. These are interpreted as evidence of His unique relationship with God the Father and His supreme authority.

Claiming Divinity:

Jesus directly referenced God’s name, “I AM”, in John 8:58, which the Jewish leaders understood as a claim to deity. He also stated, “I and the Father are one” in John 10:30

Accepting Worship:

Jesus accepted worship from people, such as When Apostle Thomas exclaimed as, My Lord and My God” in John 20:28, and Jesus did not correct him.

His Resurrection:

His Resurrection from the dead is considered the ultimate proof of His divinity and power over death.

Apostolic Witness:

Jesus’ apostles identified Him as God. Peter referred  Jesus as our God and Savior in 2 Peter 1:1

Worship and Exaltation:

Philippians 2:9 describes Jesus being exalted to the Highest place – Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord.

Doctrine of Trinity:

The concept of the Trinity, that God exists as Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit affirms Jesus’ co-equality and co-eternality with God the Father.

Pre-Existence of Jesus Before the World Was

John 1:1 – In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God.

This Word is the one who brought all things into being at creation (John 1:3).

John 1:1 teaches that the Word is eternal, the Word has had an eternal relationship with the Father, and the Word as to His nature is deity.

Matthew 1:23 – Behold, the virgin shall be with child and bear a son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, which is translated God is with us.

Why You Need Jesus.???

The Problem: Spiritual Death

Romans 3:23 – For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.

Separation from God

This separation from God is an inability to please Him or submit to His will.

Condemnation:

Without spiritual renewal and dedication, everyone remains under God’s condemnation and are unable to enter the kingdom of God to enjoy eternity.

The Only One solution: Being Born Again

Being “born again” is not a human achievement but a mysterious, miraculous work of God through the Holy Spirit.

Forgiveness and New Identity:

Through faith in Christ Jesus, who paid the price for sin; past sins are forgiven, and a living hope for an eternal inheritance is given.

A person receives Christ’s spirit, becoming part of God’s kingdom and family, rather than remaining a part of the sinful world.

A Transformed Life:

The old sinful nature is crucified with Christ and the individual gains power over sin, rather than being it’s slave. With a new spirit, a person is able to submit to God, please Him, and live a life aligned with the Word of God.

2 Cor 5:17: Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, new things have come. Which simply means that if anyone is in Christ, his old things have passed away; he is a new creation. anyone reading this page, if you wish to acknowledge the finished redemptive work of  Jesus on the Calvary Cross and wants to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior,

–Believe and invite Jesus into your life by asking forgiveness for your sins and begin to speak to the Lord.

Example Prayer:

Dear God, I know I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that ‘Jesus’ carried my sins and died on the Cross for my eternal redemption.

I believe Jesus rose from the death on the third day. I repent of my sins and ask You to forgive me. As it is written in John 3:16

‘For God so loved

The world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life;”

Therefore, I accept Jesus as the Lord and Savior of my life.  Thankyou for hearing my prayer. Amen.

Romans 5:10 – For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

This verse emphasizes that God’s love was shown by having Christ die for all humanity when they were still in their sinful state.

Salvation through Christ’s Life:

The death of Christ provides reconciliation, but His ongoing life ensures salvation for those who have been reconciled. It signifies that salvation is available to everyone, highlighting the universal nature of God’s love.

1. The Bible: We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God, serving as our Final authority in all matters of faith and practice.(2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21)

2.Trinity: We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons:Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.(Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14). Jesus is the Son of God – born from Virgin Mary – is a miraculous          conception of Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit, without any male participation, so that, the birth process was unlike that of other human. (Matthew1:18-25, Luke 1:26-38)

3. Salvation: We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ, and that this faith is demonstrated by repentance, water baptism, and a life of obedience to God’s Word. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9-10)

4. Born Again Experience: We believe that individuals must be born again through the Holy Spirit to experience spiritual rebirth and enter the kingdom of God. (John 3:3-5, 1 Peter 1:23)

5. Water Baptism: We believe water baptism is an ordinance of the church, symbolizing the believer’s death to sin and resurrection to new life in Christ (Matthew 28:19, Romans 6:3-4)

6. The Lord’s Supper: We believe the Lord’s supper is an ordinance of the church, commemorating Christ’s death and resurrection, and symbolizing our unity and fellowship with Him and with each other (1 Corinthians 11:23-26)

7. Baptism in the Holy Spirit: We believe that baptism in the Holy Spirit is a separate experience from salvation, empowering believers for witness, service, and spiritual growth, often accompanied by speaking in tongues (Acts 2:4, 1 Corinthians 12:13, Acts 10: 44-46)

8. Spiritual Gifts: We believe that spiritual gifts, including healing, prophecy, and speaking in tongues, are operative in the church today, empowering believers for ministry and service

(1 Corinthians 12:4-11, 1 Corinthians 14:1-40)

9. Divine Healing: We believe in the ministry of divine healing, and that God heals physical, emotional, and spiritual needs through prayer and laying on of hands (James 5:14-16, Mark 16:18)

10.The Second Coming of Jesus: We believe Jesus Christ will return to earth visibly and gloriously, to rapture His church and establish His eternal kingdom (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18), Revelation 20:4-6)

“SURELY THE NATIONS ARE LIKE A DROP IN A BUCKET; THEY ARE REGARDED AS DUST ON THE SCALES”

This verse emphasizes the incomparable nature and greatness of God, asserting that all nations of the earth are insignificant compared to His divine majesty and wisdom.

Isaiah 40:15 offers a profound reflection on God’s sovereignty and the fleeting nature of human power. He lifts up the islands like fine dust. This imagery powerfully conveys the vast difference between God’s infinite power and human limitations. The comparison of nations to a “drop in a bucket” highlights their insignificance in God’s eyes. Just as a single drop is negligible compared to the ocean, so too are nations in the grand scheme of God’s creation. This perspective calls for humility and trust in God’s plan, acknowledging that He is the one who holds all power and authority.

The phrase “dust on the scales” further illustrates the idea that human power and achievements are inconsequential in the grand scheme of God’s eternal plan.

In ancient times, scales were used to precise measurements, and a speck of dust would not affect the balance. This metaphor underscores the idea that human endeavors are but a mere whisper in the wind compared to God’s omnipotence. The reference to “islands” can be understood as distant lands or nations, emphasizing God’s control over the entire earth, including the remotest parts. The phrase “like fine dust” suggests ease and effortlessness indicating that God’s power is so great that even the most distant and seemingly significant places are easily managed by Him.

In a world where nations rise and fall, this verse reminds us that true stability and security come from God alone. It encourages us to look beyond the temporary and focus on the eternal, recognizing that God’s kingdom is the one that will endure forever. By understanding our place in God’s vast universe, we can cultivate a deeper faith and reliance on Him.
